We had a fantastic Welcome Social on Saturday night, bringing together students from Third Form to Upper Sixth for an evening of fun! The evening featured a DJ, a bouncy castle, sumo wrestling, basketball, penalty shootouts, pulled pork baps, and a Mr. Frosty’s ice cream van. A brilliant time was had by all, with special thanks to Reuben and the rest of the tech team for their invaluable help in making it happen.
It is wonderful to share and celebrate the stunning work of Old Bloxhamist Will Warr, @willwarr (LS Cr 01-08) who has worked closely with the Prince and Princess of Wales on a number of occasions. Yesterday, Will shared his latest film - A Message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales, as she has completed her chemotherapy treatment. Will commented: “It’s always an honour to produce films for the Prince and Princess of Wales, but this one was particularly poignant. Thank you to the Princess of Wales for trusting me to create this.” This 2018 photo of Will captures when he filmed at Bloxham to celebrate the school's 20 years of co-education.
At Bloxham, we love to celebrate the achievements of our students both in and out of school. Fourth Form Hunter's equestrian achievements are certainly worthy of celebration. Hunter had a fantastic summer travelling to France for the European Individual Championships, where he secured an impressive fourth place. Additionally, he and his North Warwickshire team have qualified for the Horse Show of the Year in October, where they will compete against the top six teams in Great Britain. Congratulations to Hunter!
