New pupils will receive a high-spec school laptop, perfect for both classroom and remote learning. Here’s how it works:
• Rent or Buy: Choose to rent the laptop or purchase it from our trusted supplier.
• Return or Keep: At the end of your time with Bloxham School, return the laptop to the IT department to end the rental, or arrange with the supplier to own it.
• Warranty Included: Enjoy peace of mind with a warranty covering accidental damage.• More Details: Full information about the laptop scheme will be provided when you join Bloxham.
Sixth Form Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Laptop Scheme
To support your studies, you’ll need a personal device that meets our network’s security and compatibility requirements:
- Minimum Specs: Ensure your device meets our minimum specifications to connect smoothly to the Bloxham School network.
- Security Standards: Devices must meet our security protocols to access the network. If they don’t, they won’t connect.
- Recommended Devices: We recommend Windows 11 devices, as some teaching resources are exclusive to the Windows Store.
- Apple Mac Devices: Supported, but note they may have some limitations.
