Bloxham’s Young Enterprise team Re-Hide were delighted to come away from their first trade fair with a profit and some useful lessons learned

Thank you to Max Langer for his report following Re-Hide’s first commercial venture at a trade fair back in October:

Our first sale was a great success. Despite the event not having a huge turnout on the day we managed to turn a profit. Our stall looked great thanks to a lot of preparation beforehand and we were delighted to see all that hard work pay off. Our customers were impressed by the quality of the products and so our products, especially the bracelets, sold very well.’We learnt some useful lessons from the experience, including how to improve the finish of the product, as well as the most effective method to sell to customers. We will be using these lessons to help us build on this success in the future – there’s still a lot of work to go!

Congratulations to the team, comprising Max Langer, Tobi Ng, Abbie Oram, Tom Haynes, Jacob Lee, Hugh Johnston, Jamie Hood, Will Graham, Will Adams, Hugh Symons and Henry Rigby, who have already put in a huge amount of work into this venture and it’s great to see their efforts pay dividends. We wish them luck as they continue with their project.

You will have your own chance to meet the members of Re-Hide and purchase some of their brilliant products for yourself- they will be holding a stall in the library during the interval during the evening productions of ’79’ on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November.
