Bloxham School was delighted welcome Olympic Hockey Bronze Medallist, Sarah Thomas, to mark the opening of the relaid astro pitch
Saturday 6th September saw the 1st XI girls play their first home match against an invitational side to mark the opening of the relaid pitch.
We were fortunate enough to have hockey bronze Olympian Sarah Thomas deliver some hockey skills to the junior sides during their trials afternoon. She also had a chance to say a few words to the teams before the match stating, “The opportunities at Bloxham are fantastic and I am sure this new facility will help to develop the hockey here further.”
The first official fixtures afternoon will take place on Saturday 13th September, when we will welcome Tudor Hall for an afternoon of girls’ hockey fixtures.
