Our Academic Drama Students headed to Warwick Arts Centre last night to watch the critically-acclaimed “Grounded”

27 Academic Drama students from Fourth Form to Upper Sixth attended the award-winning Grounded at Warwick Arts Centre on Wednesday 8th October.

This was a one-woman show with an intriguing and engaging character development, as we see a powerful woman disintegrate before our eyes.’This was a production that certainly encouraged much discussion and made us think: about Western values; modern warfare; and the dehumanising impact that technology can have on us.

It is easy to see how this show has been so widely acclaimed and it will certainly influence our performance work. Next up, we look forward to watching the world-famous Kneehigh Theatre Company perform “Dead Dog in a Suitcase” at Bristol Old Vic, on Thursday 16th October.
