Guests enjoyed a brilliant evening at the Bloxham Summer Exhibition yesterday

Bloxham welcomed around 50 guests to the event, showcasing the best art, design, textile and design work from the year groups. The school has recieved brilliant feedback from the evening, and it was lovely to see so many faces in attendance.

Bloxham’s fantastic catering team put on a delicious spread of canapes and treats, and guests enjoyed live music in the sunshine!

Artist, Kieran Stiles, has visited the school again after his very successful Art scholars painting workshop to see the school’s Summer Exhibition. He was ‘blown away’ by the quality and variety of the work on display, commenting that it was ‘so exciting to see the pupils painting in such a mature way with such a ‘depth of study’. Kieran was then given the impossible task of awarding certificates of achievement to his favourite pieces. Many congratulations to those who received an award, in particular to Charlotte G and Hannah C whose ‘exquisite’ work were recognized as a gold standard.’

The exhibition remains up in the Art studios through Founderstide until the end of term. Well done to all the students who had work displayed, a fantastic effort.
