Bloxham parent and professional farmer Pete Rymer kindly came in to present to 50 Bloxham Business students on the pressures facing farmers today

The Bloxham Business Club meets every half term with the objective of contextualising the A Level syllabus in the real world.

Past guest speakers who have presented to the Bloxham Business Club have included Old Bloxhamists, entrepreneurs and industry experts. Last night we welcomed Mr Pete Rymer, father of our current Crake House Captain Harry, who addressed 50 students on the practice of modern farming. In his talk entitled ‘Farming: it IS a business’, Mr Rymer spoke of the cost pressures, economies of scale and diversification that modern farms need to embrace in order to succeed in the tough current climate.
