Third Form enjoyed an action-packed trip to Alton Towers this weekend

Thank you to Third Form Prefect, Molly Kirk, for providing us all with an insight into what was clearly a fantastic day at Alton Towers for everyone involved:

On Sunday 28th September, 49 pupils from the Third Form went on a day trip to Alton Towers. Leaving bright and early allowed us to arrive mid-morning and make the most of the day. We all dispersed rapidly in groups of four or five to enjoy the rollercoasters – the favourite ride of the day was the new ride ‘The Smiler’, however the two hour queue for it was not as popular! All the larger rides, such as Oblivion, Nemesis and Air, were targeted, with a few of the braver members of the year getting themselves soaked on the flume! We left the park at 4.00pm for our long journey back home. Overall it was a fun day out that was enjoyed by all!
