This year’s Old Bloxhamist Day will take place on Sunday 16th November 2014
The annual Old Bloxhamist Day 2014 will take place on Sunday 16th November 2014 and we would be delighted to see some more familiar faces return for this year’s event. The arrangements for the day are as follows:
This year’s event will begin at 11.00am, with a memorial service for former Bloxham teacher Douglas Perrin, who tragically died back in August. Anyone who wishes to attend the event is welcome – more details can be found here.
The Old Bloxhamists’ AGM will then be held from 12.00noon, taking place in the school’s VLR. Following this is a lunch for members of the 200 Club, who generously raise funds for the Old Bloxhamists, as well as a raffle.
At 2.00pm, there will be a hard-fought hockey match, with OB girls facing the school’s 1st XI. This is a great event and both teams really appreciate the support they get from the crowd. Following the match there will be tea for players and spectators laid out in the Small Dining Room.’
The Old Bloxhamist Day is a lovely event, bringing together many OBs to remember their school days and discuss to current business and we are looking forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to join us.
