On Sunday 24th March, an Old Bloxhamist Ladies’ Hockey team competed in the annual Dean Close Alumni Sixes Tournament. The young OB side played a fantastic tournament, and had the crowd behind them as, despite only being a team of five, they narrowly missed third place in the third/fourth place play-off.
The team consisted of Muqaddas Ahmed (Mn 19-21) , Sophie Tredwell (Ry 16-21), Olivia Finch (Ry 16-21), Hannah Phillips (Ry 18-20) and Emma Stephenson (Wf 19-21).
It is a great testament to the team that they were given a special mention by the organisers and Emma was awarded overall Player of the Tournament.
