Bloxham School Open Events

We organise a number of open events throughout the academic year, enabling our prospective families to experience the life of the school on a working day.

Upcoming Open Events:

Whole School Open Morning
Saturday 5th October 2019, 11.00am-1.00pm
We welcome prospective families to our Whole School Open Morning where visitors will be given tours of the school, with the chance to visit lessons and see the range of sports and activities offered to all our students here at Bloxham. Our Headmaster, Paul Sanderson, will give a presentation to parents on our educational ethos. Families are then welcome to attend a delicious lunch in the school’s dining room, where there will be a further opportunity to meet members of the Bloxham community.

Sixth Form Taster Morning
Saturday 1st February 2020, 9.00am-12.30pm
This is an excellent event for those considering Bloxham School for Sixth Form to experience the academic and cultural life on offer, with an opportunity to participate in lessons and spend time in our vibrant new Sixth Form Centre.

Whole School Open Morning
Saturday 7th March 2020, 11.00am-1.00pm
This spring Open Morning is a further opportunity for interested families to visit, meet members of the community and be given a tour of the school. They are then welcome to attend a delicious lunch in the school’s dining room, where there will be a further opportunity to meet members of the school community.

Lower School Open Morning
Saturday 25th April 2020, 10.30am-1.00pm
This morning is specifically tailored for those families who are considering entry into Bloxham’s Lower School at 11. During the event, the children will have the opportunity to join in a number of taster activities, targeted at children aged seven and above, giving them a taste of what life is like at Bloxham School. Parents are invited to attend presentations given by Bloxham’s Headmaster, Paul Sanderson, and the Head of Lower School, Jane Cochran, whilst other key staff members will be available to meet over the course of the event. Families are welcome to join us for lunch after the event.
