The Lower School curriculum is designed to ensure a solid grounding in the core subjects, in the context of a broad range of subjects, enabling students to make informed GCSE choices. There is a big emphasis on numeracy, literacy and digital skills, as these are the foundations for success across all subject areas.

Subjects are taught by subject specialists in small classes. In mathematics, classes are set to ensure that all students are stretched to fulfil their potential.
