Founderstide is a huge occasion in the Bloxham calendar and a fantastic celebratory day for all to look forward to. For those new to the Bloxham community, here’s a full rundown on what Founderstide entails.

What happens in the prize-giving assembly?
The prize-giving assembly includes address from the Headmaster, School Captains, Chair of Governors and guest speaker. This year’s speaker is Old Bloxhamist General Sir Adrian Bradshaw KCB OBE DL (Wn 71-76). Subject and year-group prizes are awarded to students throughout the School.
What activities are running from 11.30am?
You can review all of the activities and displays on the following flyer. If you are not planning to attend the prize-giving assembly, please arrive for 11.15am for refreshments prior to activities and displays.
When does the day end?
The Founderstide day events come to a close at 2.30pm.
The evening Ball
What is included in a ticket?
Guests of the ball will enjoy a three-course meal, welcome drink with live music and dancing until midnight.
What’s the dress code?
Guests are expected to wear Black Tie.
What drinks are available during the evening?
There will be one bar available throughout the night. This will be a no cash bar. Card payments are accepted from all major credit cards, except AMEX.
If are part of a large group booking, we would recommend pre-ordering drinks for your table to avoid long queues at the start of the evening before dinner service starts at 7.30pm. If you wish to make use of this service, please nominate someone from your party to place your table order before Tuesday 24th June: SipnSwig. Please quote the Bloxham School address when placing your order (Bloxham School, Banbury Road, Bloxham, OX15 4PE). Purchases can not be refunded or exchanged.
Please note each table will have one bottle of still and one bottle of sparkling provided and tap water is freely available from the bar.
What time does the live music begin?
Music will begin at approximately 9.00pm. Bring your dancing shoes!
