Admissions Procedure
for International Students
1. Parents/students approach educational agent.
2. Agents assess whether students are a suitable academic and social fit.
Agents send a copy of the two latest school reports and a candidate
appraisal to the school Admissions Office, along with a handwritten 200
word statement from the candidate, outlining their interests and why they
want to study in the UK.
3. The school will inform the agent whether to proceed with the
application.
4. Students will be strongly encouraged to visit the school, where an initial
assessment of language ability and interests is conducted.
5. Students who are not able to visit are given an initial Skype interview.
The agent sends the full registration form and proof of payment of
registration fee and a copy of the candidate's passport.
6. Students to revisit the school to sit the relevant entrance tests, or these
are to be sent to approved agents, who will then administrate them under
controlled conditions.
7. School marks test papers and considers application. Students who
successfully complete the test papers, but who have not visited the school,
will be given a second Skype interview.
8. Offer of place is made. Acceptance forms sent out and returned with
acceptance deposit.
OR
School decide not to offer. No further action required. There is no
refund of the registration fee for unsuccessful candidates.
