House Drama
Day/time: To be arranged with your nominated director in house
Venue: Rehearsals in houses with the final performance in the Great Hall in
February
Open to: All
MIC: Mr S Brassington
Description: House drama is a brilliant way to bond as a house and create an
entertaining performance for the whole school. The ethos is to create and
perform in a supportive and fun environment with larger and smaller group
performance categories. Each director will receive mentoring throughout the
process and a professional will adjudicate the final performances.

Jazz Band
Day: Monday
Time: 4:00pm-5:00pm
Venue: SKMS
Open to: Invite only
MIC: Mr J Ramm
Description: Get jazzing with this ensemble! Performing all the classics as well as
arrangements of chart busters. For instrumentalists and for those vocalists who
fancy singing in front of a band.

Lamda
Day/time/venue: Various (to be agreed with Mrs McLellan)
Open to: All
MIC: Mrs A McLellan
Description: A whole host of options are available for students to further their
drama and public speaking skills as either 1-2-1 or pair sessions. You will arrange
a weekly time with Mrs McLellan, who has tutored students from Grade 1 to
Gold. This is a paid for activity and you should contact Mrs McLellan for further
information.

Lamda with Exham House
Day/time: Taking place as part of drama curriculum
Open to: First Form - Second Form
MIC: Mrs A McLellan, Ms J Single & Mr S Brassington
Description: Both First and Second Form will continue with the excellent tradition
of producing a range of scripted and devised pieces to be assessed as part of
the world-renowned LAMDA examination series. The performances will be
showcased to parents before the final examinations in the Summer Term.
