Virtual Talk: ‘Remember Him at the Altar’ by Simon Batten and Matt Dixon

Join us for a virtual event ‘Remember Him at the Altar’, a talk given by School Archivist Simon Batten and Old Bloxhamist Matt Dixon (Cr 89-94) on their recently launched book.

‘Remember Him at the Altar’ is a deeply moving account telling the stories of the 80 Old Bloxhamists who lost their lives in the Great War. The book traces their lives from school to the grave, examines the experiences of those who served and survived and looks at the way in which the lives of those at home were affected by the war.
