Young Musician of The Year 2020

This term Bloxham School musicians have been working hard to be crowned as Young Musician of The Year 2020.

After a final evening of top quality, varied music, our guest adjudicator Gabriella Swallow had to make some very difficult decisions. A huge congratulations to all musicians involved in the whole competition.

Teddy was crowned this year's Young Musician of the Year for his engaging and polished performance of a piece of 'Maths Rock' on drums.

Other category winners included:

Ari P. Exham House – Recorder

Beginner to Grade 3 category, for her enchanting performance of 'Merri-go-round'

Henry P. Exham House – Drums

Grade 4-6 category, for a stunning performance of Metallica

Lottie R. Raymond House – Voice

Grade 7+ category,  for her beautiful storytelling in ‘I’m Still Hurting’
