Challenging CCF camp for Bloxham's Cadets

Bloxham School CCF Camp at ThetfordFrom Monday 6th March to Wednesday 8th March CCF cadets from the Fourth Form up to the Upper Sixth Form spent 48 hours in the field at STANTA training area near Thetford in Norfolk.

This was the first exercise for some of the Fourth Form cadets, and proved to be great fun and challenging at times, as they slept under bashas in a harbour area, and prepared their own food from army 24 hour ration packs.

The seniors completed section battle drills, blank firing section attacks, recce patrols and a challenging obstacle course, whilst the junior activities included patrol lanes with blank firing, recce patrols and a sniper stalk.
