OB Louisa Heathcote Takes Hockey Talent to University

Louisa HeathcoteFormer Head Girl, Louisa Heathcote (Ry 2009-16), has enjoyed a great first season of hockey at university.

Louisa has been playing hockey for Manchester Metropolitan University since leaving Bloxham School last summer. The team have done extremely well this season winning the Northern Conference Cup Final. The final game was played at St Johns park, York, against Durham University winning their final game 4-0. They also the won the Northen 2A league, allowing the girls to be promoted to 1A next season. For the last two seasons, the girls have been undefeated. Lou has a promising further 3 years ahead of her studying Food Science and Nutrition at MMU. Congratulations to Louisa and the hockey team at Manchester Met!

Louisa has also captained the Old Bloxhamist netball team this year, and participated in the OB v. Bloxham School hockey match on All Saints' Tide.
