Zoe B. to Exhibit at the Royal Academy

Second Form student Zoe B. has been selected to exhibit at the Royal Academy Young Artists Summer Show.

Last month our Art Department entered Zoe's artist book, Journey in the Mountains, into the Royal Academy's Young Artists Summer Show competition, a hugely prestigious and competitive event. From the 6200 entries, Zoe's book has been chosen in the final 139 works for exhibition both in their online exhibition and at the Royal Academy of Arts in Piccadilly, London.

Director of Art, Robert Matthew says: "This is an amazing achievement for Zoe and her teacher, Mrs Blackburn, and is comparable to national representation in sport or a distinction in music. Zoe should extremely proud of her success."

The RA's online exhibition is now live and Zoe's work will be available to see in the gallery exhibition, along with other Young Artists from across the country, from 13th July until 4th August.
