Q&A with Miguel Martin Molina

Studying outside your country is a good experience, you learn a new culture, make new friends and improve your language skills. England is one of the best places to study because you learn one of the most important languages in the world. Also, the boarding environment is an awesome place to make new friends.

What is your favourite aspect of life at Bloxham?

My favourite thing about Bloxham is the people. It is the best school I have ever been to! The experience has really benefitted me in so many ways. There are loads of great aspects to life here, but I really like the sports and the activities. Also, being a full Boarder is great fun.

Why did you choose a British education and what made you decide on Bloxham?

I chose Bloxham because of the friendly vibe which is given off by the whole school, and because it is a really comfortable environment in which to live. The lessons are always interesting and we do a lot of project and practical work, which I love!

Were you worried about joining a completely different culture?

The first days I was worried because it was a different country, and a different school, but when you get used to it, it’s perfect. You make lots of friends quickly and you learn how to get involved in a new culture.

What are you hoping to go onto do after you have finished at Bloxham? How has Bloxham helped you prepare for your future?

Bloxham has helped me prepare for my future. Learning a new way to study has been really useful and my English is so much better than it was in September! I’m grateful to have had this opportunity too, it has been the best experience of my life and I would love to come back one day.

Do you have and advice for international students thinking of joining Bloxham at Sixth Form?

Come to Bloxham! You will learn and see lots of new things and meet new people who will hopefully be friends for life. There is a high standard in the classroom and you have to study hard if you want to pass the exams.
