About the Lower School
 |
| The White Lion makes an attractive base for Bloxham's Lower School |
The Lower School is housed in a modern and imaginatively designed teaching and recreational space. The skilful reworking of the former 'White Lion' pub, is now used for more edifying pursuits by our youngest Bloxhamists! Pupils may be either day or weekly boarders and attend school Monday - Friday. Prep is completed at School each weekday evening and there is a wide range of clubs and activities on offer catering for all interests.
Admission is via the school's own entrance examination. Outstanding performances in this can result in scholarships being awarded.
The Entrance examinations are held in January each year and an early application to sit the exam is strongly encouraged. The 11+ entrance and Scholarship examinations will take place in the week beginning 23rd January 2006. Closing date for application is 11th January 2006.
Georg Stindt is the Head of the Lower School. Georg teaches Science throughout the School and is also an active sports coach and CCF Officer.
