Derek Seymour Portrait is Unveiled

When Derek Seymour's two sons, Paul and Michael, visited the School last Summer at a Gaudy event they happened to notice that the portrait of their father was done as a high quality photograph rather than as an oil painting making it the 'odd one out.' Immediately a plan was hatched and with the photograph delivered into their possession they determined that they would commission an artist to capture the likeness of a much loved Headmaster - and, for them, father.

Headmaster Mark Allbrook thanks Paul Seymour as the painting goes on show for the first time.

The painting was unveiled at a special lunch in February and now hangs back in the dining hall alongside other headmasters likenesses.
