Historic House is Home for Bloxham's Youngest Boarders
Bloxham's Lower School boarders have moved home recently to one of the village's more historic houses, Park Close in Little Bridge Road. The School has owned the property for many years and it has formerly seen use as the Headmaster's residence and as a Sixth Form girls' boarding house. Historically the house was once the seat of the Lord of the Manor, Bloxham Beauchamp, and was also once owned by Osbert Sitwell, a prominent member of the literary family which included Edith Sitwell.
