Bloxham Four Hit Gold at St James' Palace

On Tuesday 8th November four recent leavers, pictured here, met HRH Prince Philip to receive their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award at St James’ Palace. The four boys, Harry Cox, Will Powell, Callum Roberts and Chris Boyle, are amongst 14 pupils from Bloxham who have been awarded their Gold Award over the past 12 months. Meeting the Duke of Edinburgh was a great reward for the boys’ efforts in completing their Gold DofE; in addition to volunteering in the community for 12 months, learning a new physical activity and a new skill the boys also completed 12 days of expeditions, walking 216km in total.

 

Congratulations to them all; if the present cohort ever needed the motivation to complete their DofE here it is!
