About the Sixth Form
Most Bloxhamists stay on for A and AS Levels. Others join at this stage to
create a Sixth Form of 150 students. A wide range of subject
choices is offered together with a lively social and personal development
programme. Full details of these choices and the 'blocking' arrangements are
available on the website by clicking the further information button.
There is no school uniform in the 6th form but a dress code operates. Entry
is achieved by interview and a satisfactory performance at GCSE level. In
approved cases for overseas students,entry tests may be taken under
supervision in their own country. Academic and other scholarships are
available.
New 6th Form Art Studio Gallery opens
The former library has been skillfully refurbished by our in-house craftsmen and has now re-opened as a spacious and stylish studio gallery space which will benefit all of our artists by freeing up valuable additional space for everyone.
