Votes for Children Proves to be a Winner!

Our Public Speaking Team from the Second Form of Clare Holding (Chairman) Octavia Lewis (Speaker) and Precious Beeman (Vote of Thanks) has won the cup at the Winchester House Public Speaking Competition. Octavia chose to argue that children should be able to vote for Prime Minister, an interesting argument that she has worked hard at developing. All three spoke very well, and had a real sense of enthusiasm and teamwork.

What a great result by this young team - and what a good idea too!

Thanks are due to Winchester House for their splendid hosting of this enjoyable and worthwhile event.
