The Shining Light Ball to celebrate the sesquicentenary (150TH) Anniversary of the Founding of the School was held on Saturday 30th January.

The black-tie event was attended by the majority of the pupils in the School from Form 3 and above.

The meal was a sumptious carvery affair and was taken in House Groups.

Musical entertainment was provided by Jamie Walker, Sam Prior and George Dibble, followed by 'The Scholars',  a Band which included Josh Herring and OB Tim Mobbs. The headline band, 'Royal Showdown', featured OB Atar Shafighian who had kindly agreed to come back to play with his band and also bought along a DJ and disco!

There was also a laser show which depicted the 150th logo on the chapel walls and at 10.30 a Chinese lantern release rounded off the Shining Light theme .
