| Dan Jordan - Housemaster |
Joined Bloxham in 2007 as Assistant Director of Music from Thomas’s Preparatory School in London. Prior to teaching, he worked as a professional opera singer and freelance musician. Along with all things musical at Bloxham, he coaches the Junior Colts B rugby team and the Junior Colts A cricket team. His wife Penny, formerly a teacher at the Dragon School in Oxford, now looks after their sons Harry and Jack.

| Robin Pyper - Assistant Housemaster |
A graduate of Leeds and Warwick Universities, Robin is a qualified PE teacher and Assistant Housemaster of Seymour House. Robin coaches hockey and cricket to the Lower and Middle Schools and is also the school’s Duke of Edinburgh coordinator. So when he’s not striding down the wicket, he might be found climbing up a nearby mountain. As if all that weren’t enough, Robin loves running and - injuries permitting - also plays for Banbury Hockey club.

| Col Stewart - Tutor |
Joined Bloxham way back in 1971. He has nearly 20 years of housemastering experience behind him, first in Raymond before it changed to girls, and more recently in Crake. He joined the Seymour tutor team in 2003 on retiring from the Crake housemastership. He teaches Economics and Business Studies, and has made huge contributions to sports such as Tennis, Rugby and Fives over the years as well as to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

| Andrew Goldsmith - Tutor |
Joined the Seymour tutor team when he joined Bloxham in September 2005 to teach Maths. He has previously taught at Haileybury School for five years, and at a school in New Zealand for two years. He is an experienced rugby coach and runs the 1st XV, as well as helping with both hockey and athletics and has a passion for Newcastle United! He has 2 young children, Will and Matt.

| John Horton - Tutor |
Joined Bloxham as Director of Sport in September 1988 from Kingswood School in Bath. He teaches A level PE and Games throughout the school, but his particular interest is in Rugby, having played first class rugby for Bath and of course for England for many years in the 1970’s and 80’s. He continues to coach at all levels and now runs the Yearlings here at school, after having run the 1st XV for 18 years. He also teaches Chemistry to the middle school. He spent 13 years as a tutor in Wilson before moving to Seymour in 2001. He has had two sons at the school.
Eddy Heddon, late of the Army (soldier, officer and electronic engineer), past teacher of IT and Electronics to A Level at Wellington College and Hampton School, is the Head of IT at Bloxham School and is in the CCF. He enjoys coaching and umpiring hockey having played at national level for 3 countries and his current interests include golf (a 'bandit' 17 handicap), sailing and any type of fishing. Father to Daniel and Alex who have managed to get their dad to become rather good at painting Warhammer figures....although he would much rather be playing golf!

| Mrs Clarinda Hilder - Matron |
Clarinda first joined Seymour in 1998 as assistant matron, taking over when her predecessor retired in 2000. She therefore has a wealth of experience in dealing with teenage boys; she also has two sons of her own.

| Mrs Avril Andrews - Assistant Matron |
Avril joined the Seymour house staff in 2000 and much of her time is spent as a seamstress, whether mending the boy’s clothes or making items like curtains for the house. She has a son and a daughter and lives in the village.
