An Introduction to Crake House

Crake House is named after the Rev. Crake who was one of the first teachers in the School back in the 1860's and the first Chaplain. He was a larger than life character, a prolific author (many of his books can still be found in reputable book shops, as well on e-bay) and his house carries on many of the traditions that he initiated.
Crake is situated in the oldest part of the School and is home to 54 boys aged between 13 and 18.
David Best is the Crake Housemaster and Richard Devesa the resident assistant. David is a member of the Mathematics department and Richard teaches Spanish. David is a keen and active sportsman whilst Richard has recently joind the rugby coaching fraternity.
